How do you all keep finding this?!

Hello!

It's been a while. I've been busy with music and painting and family and work and life. I hope you're all keeping yourselves out of trouble.

Listen - I keep getting notifications from people following my page from this game, and it's lovely! I don't have current game projects, but I'm sure there'll be some in the future, so if you've enjoyed, a follow is always a good idea.

Anyway, I wanted to share this lovely review I found: https://paulcapewell.com/blog/230422/

"This was another nice surprise. It mixes a few different gameplay styles and a solid approach to platform-appropriate artwork, but - rarely for these sorts of projects - it has a British accent. From the first mention of the in-game currency being 'quid', I started to feel myself more immersed in this game's world, which was, the creator says, "inspired by my crushing depression and written during the 2020 lockdown (but before the 2020 zombie apocalypse)."

It's a game about bumbling around town looking for things to do, and popping into coffee shops and record stores whenever you have enough cash. It's perfect.

The game's Swansea-based creator also has a bandcamp, and honesly if I spend too much time pondering the fact that we are dealing with creators who can do music, graphics, game mechanics, and narrative story-telling... Well, I don't know how it makes me feel. Inadequate, certainly. But it's glorious to see - particuarly when projects like this one feature so much of the author's voice.

Maybe I've just gravtitated towards the ones which seem to combine nostalgia and a semi-autobiographical narrative, or maybe it's the other way round and this is inherent in these homebrew Game Boy games? Either way I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon gems like these." - Paul Capewell

Anyway, thank you and I love you all.
