Wow. What a year it's been!

Sometimes in a good way... Not always in a good way...

Okay, okay, rarely in a good way. But throughout the past year I've occasionally had a ping on my phone and an email from one of you playing, downloading, commenting on, and (!) even donating to one of the Game Boy games I've shared on here.

It continues to amaze me how many of you have enjoyed the games and how many of you leave me uplifting messages, especially on There's Nothing To Do In This Town.

Thank you - it really makes a difference.

So to thank you all, a tiny Game Boy ROM with an animation and a Christmas carol. I was inspired by those horrible Christmas cards that play the most grating little tunes on a tiny little buzzer speaker when you open the card, and thought, "Hey! I know what sounds a bit like that!".

Anyway, I hope you're all well and get time for some peace and rest with your loved ones.

Q&A:

If I download the ROM will it run on a Game Boy? Yes, or an emulator, or whatever.

Am I still making games? Yes, but mostly with my kids as a way of teaching them to code. Nothing that I want to share with the world. I'm sure I'll get obsessed by another short RPG project at some point, so follow this profile for when I upload something.

Am I still making music? Of course... okay, my last chiptune release was last year, but over the summer I release a couple of tracks under my actual name. Search up Simeon Smith - Better Input, Better Output on whatever platform you use to listen to music. 

How did you make this ROM? GB Studio and Aseprite - such great tools!
